NOBAMA!!!!

I will try to make a calm civil post about my reasons for not voting for Barrack Obama. First of all, I would like to make it plain that I do not think that John McCain is the best person for the job. In fact, more than ever, this is definately a case of choosing a lesser of two "bads" (don't want to say "evil").

My first reason for not supporting Obama is that I do not feel that he is trustworthy. Like it or not Obama fans, he is still refusing to show his Certificate of Live Birth, to document himself as a legal US citizen. To be elected as to other government offices, such as US Senator, a person may be a naturalized immigrant to the US. Not so for the President - Article 2 Clause 5 of the US Constitution: No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

In other words, if Obama, as is suspected, was not actually born in Hawaii, but in Africa, he is ineligible for this office and would be violating the Constitution if elected. This is apparently one of the changes he speaks about so frequently, that he wants to change the Constitution, and it leads to my second point. Obama, although actively denying it in this campaign (look into his role in ACORN and their platform if you don't believe me, this guy hates gun owners), has fought for years to ban firearms. I do not think that I want to take up space here to show the MANY quotes of the founding fathers and other patriots since that spell out the necessity of the Second Amendment of the Constitution. They were very clear that they intended the individual citizen to have the right to bear arms, and they were very clear that the removal of that right is a necessity of tyranny. This right was written into the Constitution to maintain the freedom of our Nation from itself and its leaders. I am going to quote a favorite movie of mine (yes, it's rated R, flame away if you want to) "...Why would I trade one tyrant 3000 miles away for 3000 tyrants one mile away. An elected legislature can trample a man's rights as easily as a king can." - Patriot

My last point is about his stand on "economic justice" (I will stay away from Obama's ethnic - I am not a racist, I don't care about race, I am talking about his ties to the Middle East - and religious ties here because that is where I get heated, and these three points are more than enough to convince me I shouldn't vote for him). This is a Socialist view. Anyone that hears these ideas and doesn't believe them to be Socialist is naiive and ignorant. I do not disagree with Socialism - a system based on economic equality where the lowly garbage man and the top brain surgeon are in the same economical class, where teachers' and lawyers' salaries are the same. However, true Socialism is not a possiblility. Man is a greedy and envious being, but above all, man is lazy. No one would ever put in the work to be a doctor or a lawyer, or even a teacher after it's all said and done, when the bag boy at Walmart makes the same wage. Socialism can not work in the economic world we live it - maybe in a barter system, but I digress. This is well known, that is what Karl Marx realized. What Obama is pitching here in "economic justice" is Marxism, Communism.

So, in summary, I will not vote for someone who snubbs his nose at the Constitution, who has spent his career trying to change parts of the Constitution that he doesn't like, and who appears to be trying to change the entire Governmental system of our Nation laid out in the Constitution.

Better an imperfect Republican, than a perfect Communist!
